Corinne Stewart said:Ìý“Being taught and mentored by Matt Grimes has had a lasting impact on both my time at university and my career since graduating. His ongoing support, encouragement, and generosity with his time gave me the confidence and drive to pursue every opportunity – something I continue to carry with me. Matt was the first teacher who truly believed in me, and that belief made all the difference. Being nominated for an OMG feels incredibly special, and I’m proud to be recognised alongside so many talented alumni – it’s a real full-circle moment.
Alfie McIntyreÌýsaidÌý“Being nominated for this award means a lot to me. Realising that my work is being appreciated and recognised encourages me to keep going, especially when aspects of the music industry can be quite tough. My tutor has continued to show great support for me since my graduation, attending my events and also generally checking in with me from time to time. His insight means a lot to me and I’m sure we will stay in contact for a long time to come.â€
