Coupled with this, ourÌý±Ê²õ²â³¦³ó´Ç±ô´Ç²µ²âÌýfacilities have been modernised to ensure that our students are given the best possible chance to succeed on the course.ÌýWe have invested overÌý£150,000Ìýin modernising ourÌýPsychologyÌýfacilities to equip students with cutting-edge skills and experience. The department offers a BPS computer lab with specialised software, includingÌý,Ìý,Ìý, andÌý, enabling students to conduct advanced data analysis, qualitative research, and experimental simulations.

Placement opportunities

Students can choose to undertake a yearlong professional placement as a part of their course with different organisations like West Midlands Police, local schools and youth mentoring services around the city of Birmingham. This provides students with real life professional experiences which will equip them with all the necessary skills to excel in a professional setting. BCU ensures that students are preparedÌýto progress on toÌývarious career paths, whether clinical, forensic or organisational psychology.
