Elliot Mason trombone
As an adjunct to the British Trombone Festival taking place over the weekend, RBC Jazz department has invited star trombonist from Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra, Elliot Mason, to stay an extra day to work with our students.
We have formed two excellent senior student combos to play the music Elliot has sent ahead to us. Elliot is presenting the gig and sitting in with the bands, so you’ll get another chance, post trombone festival, to hear Elliot play at close quarters in our jazz club setting. He also brings with him the incredible vocalist Sofija Knezevic, who we hear rumoured, may also grace the stage. An exciting evening of great music will ensue for sure.
