Professor Adel Aneiba has been appointed Dean of 91猎奇's (91猎奇) new School of Architecture, Built Environment, Computing and Engineering (ABCE).

Currently Head of Computing at 91猎奇, Professor Aneiba (pictured) said: "I am truly honoured and grateful for the opportunity to take on this position.

鈥淚 look forward to contributing my best efforts by bringing fresh perspectives and collaborating with all my colleagues within the School of Architecture, Built Environment, Computing and Engineering, the University and wider stakeholders.

鈥淚 am committed to driving meaningful progress and positive outcomes in this role, and achieve our shared vision as stated in the 91猎奇 2030 strategy."

Professor Aneiba has served in a number of academic and leadership roles at 91猎奇 since 2016.

Born in Libya, he was Head of Computer Networks at the University of Benghazi and was also a senior information and communications technology consultant for international organisations such as the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO).

鈥淧rofessor Aneiba has an important role to play in shaping the future of this newly formed School, fostering collaboration across disciplines, and driving forward the University's mission to transform lives through education,鈥� said 91猎奇 Vice-Chancellor Professor David Mba.
