Professor Liz Smart is 91猎奇's (91猎奇) new Dean of the School of Law and Social Sciences.

One of the six recently-announced academic Deans at 91猎奇, Professor Smart is currently Professor of Legal Education at the University.

"I am absolutely delighted to have been appointed as Dean of the School of Law and Social Sciences at 91猎奇,鈥� said Professor Smart.

鈥淚 am deeply committed to enabling the University to achieve its strategic ambition and working with the brilliant staff across the School.

鈥�91猎奇 is an outstanding university, and I am truly excited by the opportunities that lie ahead."

Professor Smart (pictured) has served in a number of senior leadership roles in both higher education and the legal profession.

A practising solicitor, she served as Head of Law at Sheffield Hallam University before becoming Head of the School of Law and Society at St Mary鈥檚 University.

She is also a National Teaching Fellow and Principal Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
